They say
about us
Adnan Bratanović
Territory Manager @HPE“It was a very nice gathering at TechHosted10, as it is every year. Nice meetings with nice people. We see some partners and users less often, so this was a great opportunity to meet, as well as drink coffee with our colleagues from Lanaco, and go through the year of cooperation together—what we have accomplished and frame our shared impressions. From the technological side and technological aspect, it was a well-conceived conference.”
Jovan Jovanović
Security Team Lead @Comtrade“This is the second time I am participating in your conference. Congratulations on your tenth anniversary. Compared to last year, it was impressive and well-attended. The topics at the conference were interesting, and I am glad that one of the emphases was on cybersecurity. We try, through various participations in many organizations—advising, educating, panels, and discussions—to emphasize how sophisticated hacker technologies are today, how much they have progressed, and how important it is to detect them in time. It is necessary for everyone to be informed, as well as for us to be coordinated and work together. First of all, we are thinking of the complete chain, starting from the manufacturers who produce such solutions, you as partners who educate end users, to the end users themselves who encounter numerous challenges.”
Maja Blažetić
Commercial Sales Manager for the Adriatic Region @Palo Alto Networks“So far, I am very positively surprised by everything I have seen. From designing the whole concept to thinking in advance about timing so that everyone can be prepared enough—I believe that had a big impact on the full hall. I definitely did not expect all the seats to be taken, which is a great example of good organization. We have moved away from those classical topics where everyone represents their own portfolio and discusses AI stories. I see a lot of demo examples, which have been missing until now. I have noticed one more thing: I go to conferences very often, and it is rare to see other women. Congratulations on succeeding in gathering women from cybersecurity and IT, because that is not something we see every day. Very positive impressions, and thank you for organizing this event”
Khaled Mokhtar
Chairman, IEEE Credentialing, Educational Activities Board“It's a great pleasure to be here in Banja Luka. It is a beautiful city. I am happy to be connecting with all of these professionals from the region, and I was surprised by the number of attendees. It is a great event with a great crowd and organization. There are many challenges for Telcos. As I can see, there are two major challenges: having the right talent and keeping it up to date. We have a lot of technology and it is moving very fast and talent is becoming rarer. So astechnology advancing, we need to upskill our talents in the near future. These are the major concerns we would be facing in the future.”
Magda Milas
Fintech Expert @A1 | President and Co-Founder Alice in blockchains"I am very honoured that you invited me as one of the main speakers, especially since it is about the subject of Fintech, in which I have been very intensively involved for the last few years. My lecture was a kind of analysis of the Croatian market, which is very innovative in terms of Fintech development products. Some predictions regarding the further development of innovation in Croatia will definitely continue, especially between Fintech and banks, and what I also see is mutual regional cooperation between Fintech, which is necessary in terms of mutual prosperity. We can say that we are very much in the Fintech revolution and changes on a global level are happening day by day."
Aco Momčilović
CO-FOUNDER AND CO-DIRECTOR OF GLOBAL AI ETHICS INSTITUTE"I didn't know what to expect because I don't follow events too closely here in Banja Luka, so it was great to see how well things were organized, how interesting the content was, but more importantly, how many people there are who think critically. That's the interesting thing about conferences, that you come out of them richer, and besides impressions, you gain new knowledge. Lately, I've been going to conferences as part of the content, not just to listen to them, so it's even more interesting for me, and I have this feeling of leaving happy and satisfied because it was a pleasant experience. Of course, you always meet new contacts, so I think everything aligned perfectly. What we can predict regarding artificial intelligence is that the changes will be quite significant, but what different researchers and experts differ in is what those changes will be, in what direction and in what form. We have utopian scenarios and very interesting dystopian scenarios. It becomes questionable - can we make a good prediction? According to many experts, especially those from a technological background, they actually say that we are just at the beginning."
Ned Lomigora
FOUNDER AND MANAGING PARTNER AT FALCON PARTNERS“First of all, hospitality is great and people are very welcoming. This is my first time visiting Banja Luka and LANACO. I spoke about how we need more capital, investment and help that startups need. I also give a perspective on the talents. We definitely have the best talents in Europe that can compete globally, and that's proven through outsourcing. I believe there will be a lot more AI-first startups, meaning they start with the fact that they want to be an AI start-up. But they will need help. It is hard to develop and sell AI products locally because its systems are not set up for advanced technology, and it takes a serious/certain business model to adapt it. AI is fundamentally a game changer, and it requires resources that companies here do not have.”
